Middleton IPC - Cambridge K12 Pathway
Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 - Reggio Emilia-inspired Curriculum
Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we view every child as capable and full of potential. Our inquiry-based curriculum, complemented by a structured, skills-based approach, ensures children are thoroughly prepared for primary school. Grades 1 to 5 - International Primary Curriculum
In primary, students engage in an inquiry-based International Primary Curriculum (IPC) aligned with the UK National Curriculum for English and the globally recognised Singapore Maths framework. a comprehensive curriculum with a clear learning process and specific learning goals to support supports students' academic, personal, and international development.
Grades 6 to 8 - Cambridge Lower Secondary: A Strong Foundation
Building on the robust foundation established in Primary, our Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum allows students to explore a wide range of subjects, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Grades 9 and 10 - Cambridge IGCSE: Unlocking Global Opportunities
As students progress to the IGCSE level, they delve deeper into subjects of their interest, gaining a deeper understanding and mastery. The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum is recognized worldwide for its rigorous standards and balanced approach. It encourages students to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop the skills necessary to succeed in a globalized world. Grades 11 and 12 - Cambridge International A-Levels: Paving the Path to Excellence
Middleton offers the Cambridge International A-Levels, a globally respected pre-university qualification. In 2024, over 400,000 students took the Cambridge A-Levels, compared to 140,000 who pursued the IB Diploma, highlighting its widespread popularity and strong reputation. Recognised by top Ivy League and UK universities, A-Levels provide a competitive edge in higher education admissions.
This programme allows students to specialise in three to four subjects aligned with their interests or chosen fields, maximising their strengths and university prospects. A dedicated team of educators guides students in subject selection and university applications, ensuring they meet their academic and career goals. Beyond academics, students gain a distinctive advantage through leadership opportunities, co-curricular activities, and prestigious programmes such as the National Youth Achievement Award (NYAA) and ACSIS inter-school athletic competitions. Middleton International School follows a January to December schedule. Students will sit for their exams in November and receive their results in January.
